You may be familiar with the rabbit of Monty Python’s Holy Grail movie fame, which looked like your typical adorable furball but in actuality was a fearsome creature, who, when the unwary entered its bone-strewn lair, went straight for the jugular. This sounds a lot like Eliza, shown here with Jake.

          I felt bad about this, because Jake was a lovely big brother. But even though he had four years and fifteen inches on her, Eliza could take him in a fight because she refused to fight fair. One look at Jake’s body language reveals his nervous protection of vital organs. The fact is, Liza’s petite adorableness masked an ornery and ruthless nature. If you pissed her off, and it didn’t take much, she’d be on you like a territorial badger, leading with her teeth, followed by clawing fingernails and faux karate moves she learned from watching countless episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
